"Alice..." Arced eyebrow and folded arms, the 4'9" teen looked up at the immortal.

" Well it's nice to meet such a lovely person with that name. " Jack grinned at the short woman.

"Same to you, Captain..." she answered, shifting uneasily in place. Being quite antisocial, having someone approach her in such a friendly manner was strange to her.

Jack grinned at the fact, Shoving his hands into is pockets.
"Oh I do have one question. Do you know I really am really? My vortex manipulator has been acting strange. " Jack smirked.

"London... 2017...." she answered, her hands slipping out of her pockets to adjust the too-large coat. She had very thin hands...

" Well then. I just traveled 6 years in the future..." Jack rubbed his head. Then opening his vortex manipulator staring at it for a second.
" Oh. I see I have it set wrong." Jack smirked as he looked over at Alice.
" Care for a drink at the bar?" He smiled trying to change topics.

"I... I'm not old enough to drink... even if I could, I probably wouldn't... and not with a stranger," she said, taking a half-step bacl.

" Oh. No I..I didn't know. I'm sorry.... I didn't know. " Jack said trying not to be rude.
" Usually people just assume.. I didn't mean to." Jack looked away putting his hands back in his pockets.

"Uh... it's fine... and I didn't assume that... I just... am not very social... and my parents wouldn't approve of me hanging around an older man... even if it was purely platonic."

" Okay I may look old but you don't have to shove it my face. " Jack sarcastically said.
" 1031.." To be exact. Jack said ashamed looking down on the fact his immortal.

"O-Oh..." she murmured, not quite knowing how to respond to that, "Immortal man... brought back by the heart of a Tardis..." Her last two statements were quick and clipped, and there was no way she should know any of those things.

" Wait. What did you just say. I know I heard you but.." Jack perked his head up looking at her. About to grab her by the shoulders, but stopping himself. Remembering what she said.
" How did you just access that knowlegde?" Jack asked curiously glaring at her.

The combination of glaring and attempting to grab her had Alice shuffling backwards, shoulders rising defensively. "... you," she answered softly. Somehow she could read minds... but humans were incapable of psychic abilities. They could be psi-sensitive, making them open to receiving and sensing psychic energy, but they couldn't control it, or use it.

" I..I should really go.. I don't know how you know that... However, this is getting to awkward.. I'm sorry." Jack said starting to fix his coat and sepnder a little bit. Thinking to himself. How was it even possible that some stranger even knew about that? He left it on his mind.
" I should really beheading back anyway I have work to be done. " Jack lied as he gave her a smile and started walking off, pondering about times and with the Doctor and his never ending companies. Or even the words he was told to his face. ' It's not easy, just looking at you, Jack. 'Cause you're wrong.' Repeating. His life a never ending 'curse' that you can't die from. Just wake up.
